We have been very busy and unable to post for the last year The instructor has had many issues to handle on her regular job and I have been working on completing my dissertation. So starting from this session on we will be posting to our blog about the progress of the Adult Literacy Class.

We have began to teach our students how to download pictures from their mobile phones to an album on the computer.  Every class member was given a flash drive to download their pictures on. We have observed that some students have hundreds of photos while others only have a few. One student had as many as 700 photos another barely had ten, The instructor gave the assignment for those with less than fifty pictures to take pictures with their phone so that they can be imported to the USB.

Instructions are given step by step on how to transfer photos to the flash drive. Reminder right click will bring up menu; left click follows through on the operation. Directions were demonstrated on how to put two windows side by side for easy access to move photos from one place to another. D- drive is the thumb drive and the pictures folder is on the computer. Create a new folder by clicking on the white place to make a New Folder, Label it by giving it a folder name. Name the new folder "Class Pictures;" now we are going to transfer the photos to this new folder. Drag and drop photos into the empty new folder you just created. To preview go to view tab and review your pictures.
